Lifen Hung is a Registered Social Worker in Ontario with over 30 years of clinical and counseling experience across Taiwan and Canada.

Her approach is client-centered, trauma-informed, and integrative. She supports adults, couples, and families facing emotional stress, life transitions, relationship conflict, and unresolved trauma.

She integrates CBT, ACT, narrative therapy, EFT, and family systems approaches to help clients build flexibility, resilience, and practical change in daily life.

Clinical Background

Ms. Hung worked as a mental health clinician in the Asian Initiative in Mental Health Program at Toronto Western Hospital and participated in leading this group therapy program from 2014 to 2025.

This 12-session structured, evidence-based therapeutic group is primarily designed for Chinese participants. It integrates CBT, ACT, and mindfulness practices through guided materials, practical exercises, and shared clinical discussion to improve psychological flexibility, support effective action, and restore a more values-based life direction.
